21st Birthday in London

So, on Tuesday I finally turned 21! We booked a gorgeous Airbnb apartment in London for a few days. I was completely blown away at just how pretty the apartment was - lots of future home inspiration. The main highlight of our stay was DEFINITELY the underfloor heating. Insanely jealous of anybody who lives with that on a daily basis.

On the first day, we popped off to Liberty in the evening, when all the crowds had died down. It was my first visit, and it made me feel so festive! I was treated to some gorgeous Acne Pistol Boots (which I had been lusting after for quite some time!) and bought myself a lovely grey Mulberry scarf, because Treat Yo' Self!

On my birthday, after a very lovely lie-in, a bubble bath and far too much chocolate.. We wandered around London for a bit, before getting our skates on at Somerset House. The setting couldn't have been any more perfect! Aside from a rather large bruise (yep, I fell over..) we had a wonderful time.

Afterwards, we popped off to The Strand and had some pizza and wine for dinner before heading back to the dreamy apartment to give our legs some well needed rest.

I do wish I'd taken more photos during our stay, but London is so busy, you barely get a chance to breathe! 

On the third day, we sadly packed our bags and headed back home, taking a de-tour to one of my favourite childhood garden centres. (I can't be the only one who loves a good garden centre at christmas, can I?!) Much to my amazement, the two resident goats were still there after all these years! We also met an owl, and *almost* bought a build your own gingerbread village. I kinda regret not taking that to the till now..

All in all, a really lovely couple of days, and I am now thoroughly ready for Christmas!
