Today I wanted to share with you one of my favourite Yankee Candle scents for this time of year, Mango Peach Salsa!
I used to work for Yankee Candle, so it's safe to say I am literally drowning in these jars. Be careful opening a cupboard in my room, because there's a very high chance you'll get one dropped on your head, or even worse, your toes. (Yes, that's happened - many times, and they're pretty heavy!)
Despite working there for well over a year, I still remain rather poor at describing scents with words, and usually just get people to smell for themselves. Unfortunately screens don't enable 'scratch & sniff' features just yet, so I'll have to give it a go!
It's described on the website as 'Sweet and Zesty', which for the most part I can agree with. It isn't zesty like a lemon, it's more an explosion of fruity smells. A little like when you open up a new bottle of fruit juice? (See, I told you I was bad!) For the most accurate comparison, I'd have to compare it to Tropicana's Orange & Mango juice. It smells like a super rich, yummy version in a jar.
Aside from the fairly obvious Mango and Peach, the fragrance also includes Citrus, Ginger Flowers and Pink Pepper. Yankee Candle have certainly mastered the art of creating delicious smells, it honestly does smell good enough to eat.
This is the perfect fragrance for a bright sunny day, and will fill up your whole house with juicy mango goodness!
This candle can be purchased on the Yankee Candle website for £7.99/Small, £16.99/Medium (pictured) and £19.99/Large.
I hope you enjoyed this post, I might start doing a few more of these as I have plenty of fragrances to review, and who knows, someone might even find them useful!
Have you ever tried any Yankee Candle scents before? :)

I adore Yankee candles, especially fruity ones.
ReplyDeleteDo you get any freebies as you work there?!

Mmm same, makes me feel like I'm being healthy, haha!
DeleteAnd I used to get the odd damaged tart, but I also got a pretty hefty discount, so most of my wages went on the candles! :) xxx

I know what you mean, they don't come cheap! A nice affordable way to enjoy them is if you invest in a tart burner - the tarts are just over £1 each! :) x
DeleteI adore Yankee Candles but they are just so expensive! xx

DeleteWahhh, it sounds amazing! I remember about two years ago I bought one of those miniature Yankee Candles, it smelt amazing but I really can't remember which scent it was!
ReplyDeleteA shop just down the road from where I work has started to stock them now, goodbye paycheck haha! xx
Hahaha, I know what you mean! It was bad working there (not really, it was so great!) - because as soon as I'd get paid, pretty much all my wages would go on candles.. oops! At least now I have enough to last me a lifetime! x
