That Sunny Sunday

What a lovely surprise it was to finally see the sun again!
Ben and I decided to make the most of the sunny weather, and went on a little walk in Wiltshire. We didn't reach our intended destination, (a huge valley) but I reckon we ended up pretty close. We saw a couple of deer chasing each other across the fields, and explored a little bit of woodland.
We then visited Salisbury for a spot of lunch. Not a single drop of rain fell from the sky, and there wasn't an umbrella in sight. Everybody seemed to be in such a good mood, and it was a really delightful day.

Despite the almost-perfect weather, wellies were still a necessity due to the crazy amount of puddles lingering.. They didn't come home this clean! The pessimist in me decided to wear my Barbour jacket in case rained, but luckily we stayed dry.

I haven't spoken much about Ben on here, but here he is! :)

I swear this furry headband hasn't left my head all winter! It covers your ears more than a normal hat, and my ears have a tendency to get really chilly. I love the way the (faux) fur is darker at the bottom, but lighter at the tips as it makes it easy to match to different outfits.. and cover my slightly odd looking half-grown out roots.

Ben's cat, Fudge, also had a lovely day as he found a warm sunny spot at the bottom of the stairs.

I really hope you enjoyed this post - I thought it'd be nice to feature something a little different on here for once, and what better to document than the first sunny day in what feels like forever! It's got me really excited for summer now, and put me in the mood to make plans for the warmer weather when it does finally arrive.
