The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipsticks - Crazy Sexy Crimson & Hot Date

Colour Crush lipsticks - shades 125 and 335 - £10.00 each
Today I'd like to tell you about The Body Shop's newest lipstick range, Colour Crush. With 26 different shades to choose from, you'll be sure to find one that suits you! I opted for 125 Crazy Sexy Crimson (left) and 335 Hot Date (right). They are described as 'luscious lipsticks that give a stunning pop of colour and rich moisture, infused with a subtle rose scent.'

335 Hot Date (pictured right) is probably my favourite of the two, as it is a little more subtle than Crazy Sexy Crimson. It's a gorgeous pink berry colour, and perfect for this time of year. I find it works well with my complexion, and doesn't look too pink upon application. It's just like a darker version of my natural lip colour!
125 Crazy Sexy Crimson is perfect for the evening, as it's a little more rich in colour. I love using this one with winged liner for a really sophisticated look.
Both colours are excellent, and I'm so pleased that I've finally found some that 'work' with my complexion!

Left - sunlight, Right - artificial light
As much as I hate hand swatches, and find them a little bit useless, I currently have no other option as I am suffering from some bad breakouts on my face, so please excuse them! I hope they are still useful to you. As you can see, in sunlight, these two shades don't look too different, with the berry tones in Hot Date (on the right) really coming to life.

They are extremely smooth, and glide with ease over your lips, giving you a lovely burst of colour that lasts well. I also like using them very lightly on top of lip balm, for a more subtle approach.
