Neal's Yard Remedies Wild Rose Beauty Balm

Neal's Yard Remedies Wild Rose Beauty Balm - £37.00
Today I am reviewing my favourite beauty product.. ever. This little blue pot is an absolute miracle worker! I first found out about it when I was given a little tester sachet by my manager, and I was ever so impressed. I used the tester as a mask, and my skin was so smooth and soft, it was incredible! It's not exactly a cheap product, but the consistency of it means that it'll last a long time.

I'd been thinking about getting it for a few months, but couldn't really afford it. Then I spotted somebody selling this pot on eBay brand new, for a little bit cheaper, so I snapped it right up!

I love to use this product before I go to bed, and just dab a little bit on any dry areas, and in the morning, sure enough, there is no dryness to be seen! If my skin is looking particularly dull, I'll use this all over my face, and remove it with a muslin cloth after about 10-20 mins. It gives my skin a good cleanse, as well as hydrating any dry bits and making it silky smooth! At first, it feels ever so slightly gritty, but then these gritty bits 'melt' into your skin, and it becomes more of an oil.

Don't even let me get started on the smell... it's so lovely! If you've ever used any Neal's Yard products in the past, you'll know what I mean. It has such a strong 'natural' smell, which isn't surprising if you consider the ingredient list! It's packed full of natural oils and other natural ingredients, and you are even given a little explanation in the booklet as to which ingredient does what. No nasties in here! This product is 99.2% organic, and doesn't contain Mineral Oil.. which some of it's main competitors do! So if you're looking for a cleanser similar to the Eve Lom cleansing balm, but without the Mineral Oil, you've found what you're looking for. (And you'll save yourself a bit of money!)

Over all, a really fantastic product that ticks all the boxes for me! I hope this will last me a long time, and I'll definitely be repurchasing when it does finally run out!

Have you ever tried this product, or anything similar in the past?

    1. I tend to use this as more of a moisturiser/mask, as I prefer using micellar waters and other cleansers to cleanse with! :) I haven't tried this as a cleansing balm much, I might give it a go though :) x
