L'Oreal Skin Perfection 3-in1 Micellar Water Review

Hello everyone!
I've been using this cleanser/makeup remover for a couple of months now, and it's safe to say I am in love! Long gone are the days of crinkly wipe packets, and desperate rubbing to remove make up - this solution helps to sweep away every single trace.

Many people have described this product as a dupe of Bioderma, an extremely popular 'Micellar Water' available in French pharmacies. Unfortunately, I've never had the pleasure of trying this product out, so I'm unable to compare it, but for all you 'wipers' out there.. LISTEN UP!
It's so simple to use, and there's a lot of product in the bottle. It really does just feel like a water, and it leaves no residue at all. I just pour a little bit onto a cotton wool ball/pad, and gently wipe over my face. I repeat this process all over my face until the balls/pads are clear.

Another really fantastic thing about this product is that it doesn't hurt at all if you happen to get any in your eyes. I think L'Oreal have brought out another version of this product specifically for the eye area, but in my opinion, it isn't necessary as this is just so gentle.

It's suitable for sensitive skin, and I'd agree with this statement. It doesn't dry out my skin in the slightest, and it literally feels like you've just got out of the shower. I usually follow this product up with my Simple Hydrating moisturiser, or my Nivea Regenerating night cream at night. It's also great for a quick refresh, for instance, if you spent the morning procrastinating after your shower, and want to freshen up your face before applying makeup. (Not that that's a regular occurrence for me, at all.... oops!)

I can't see myself ever going back to using wipes, as they just seem far too harsh! I'd really really recommend this product.

I've found it available in Boots, Superdrug, Tesco and Asda. The RRP is £4.99 per 200ml, you're bound to find it on offer at at least one of these places! I've stocked up for the next few months, and these bottles last ages, so I should be good for a while.

Thank you for reading, and please do leave a comment! I love to hear what you think about my posts, and I'd really love to hear about your experiences with this product! :)

  3. I've not yet purchased this but I've seen it on the shelves and I think after reading this, i'll be straight down to morrisons tomorrow to grab myself a bottle! I actually hate using wipes but I've been stuck using them for such a long time because of my sensitive skin! Fingers crossed this product will work as well for me as it has for you! x

  5. I used Bioderma and found it to be amazing but... not the cheapest thing ever. I'm so going to have to try this one! I used the one that they made for the eye area and found it not so great it didn't take off mascara or anything like it should, but this one seems nice for the face. Do you have to use a lot of product when using it? Or does a little go a long way?

    1. I haven't used the one for the eyes yet, I find this one works well enough! :)
And when using it, it's not so much the product running out, its more a case of your cotton wool being covered in too much make up. I find I usually use about 3-6 cotton wool pads in total, with just a little squirt in the middle of each. I think a bottle tends to last me just over a month! :)
I hope that helps, and thank you for your comment! x
